MY TEACHING JOURNEY PART:-7

 Day 21: 08 January 2025

In Class 8C (1st period Chemistry), I introduced the Fibres and Plastics unit, focusing on Polymers—their formation, structure, and importance in everyday life. In Class 8A (3rd period Physics), I covered Sound – Natural Frequency, explaining why objects have their unique vibrational frequency and how resonance plays a role in music and engineering.

Day 22: 09 January 2025

In Class 8A (2nd period Physics), I discussed the factors influencing frequency, such as tension, length, and material of vibrating objects. In Class 8C (5th period Chemistry), I covered Man-made or Synthetic Fibers, explaining their uses, advantages, and disadvantages. In Class 8A (6th period Physics), I introduced Pitch and Conduction of Sound, explaining how sound travels through different mediums.

Day 23: 10 January 2025

In Class 8A (1st period Physics), I explained Propagation of Sound, describing how sound waves travel through solids, liquids, and gases. The students enjoyed hands-on activities demonstrating sound propagation. In Class 8C (4th period Chemistry), we continued the Fibres and Plastics chapter, focusing on Plastics and Rubber, discussing their properties and applications in daily life.

Day 24: 13 January 2025

In Class 8A (1st period Physics), we explored Hearing – How Humans Perceive Sound and discussed the role of the ear in detecting sound waves. In Class 8C (5th period Chemistry), I introduced Thermoplastics and Thermosetting Plastics, explaining the differences in structure, properties, and uses of these two types of plastics.

Day 25: 14 January 2025

In Class 8C (2nd period Chemistry), we discussed Pollution Due to Plastics, focusing on environmental hazards and possible solutions. In Class 8A (6th period Physics), I covered Noise Pollution, explaining its causes, effects on health, and ways to reduce noise pollution in daily life.

Day 26: 15 January 2025

In Class 8A (1st period Physics), I taught Magnification and Uses of Mirrors, explaining how different types of mirrors are used in optical instruments. In Class 8A (2nd period Physics), I introduced Static Electricity, explaining how charges build up and interact through simple experiments like rubbing a balloon on a woolen cloth.

Day 27: 16 January 2025

With Annual Day celebrations scheduled for the next day, most students were involved in practice sessions. The Headmistress directed us to allow students to rehearse during class hours. As a result, I could not conduct regular teaching sessions but observed and assisted in managing the students during their practice.

Day 28: 17 January 2025 – Annual Day Celebration

The school’s Annual Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The students performed various cultural activities, including dance, music, drama, and speeches. It was a great experience to see their talents and teamwork. Teachers and trainees also helped in organizing the event smoothly.

Day 29: 20 January 2025

In Class 9A (3rd period Chemistry), I introduced the topic Non-metals – Nitrogen, explaining its properties, uses, and occurrence in nature. In Class 9A (5th period Chemistry), I covered Allotropes of Carbon, including diamond, graphite, and fullerene, discussing their unique structures and applications. In Class 9A (6th period Chemistry), I introduced Non-metals – Hydrogen, emphasizing its importance in chemical reactions and industries.

Day 30: 21 January 2025

In Class 8A (1st period Physics), I continued with Static Electricity, focusing on Electron Transfer and how objects gain or lose charges. The students enjoyed interactive demonstrations with simple materials like plastic rods and paper pieces to visualize static charges.

Day 31: 22 January 2025 – On Leave

I had to take leave due to illness and was unable to attend school.

Day 32: 23 January 2025 – On Leave

I was still unwell and had to take another day off to recover.

Day 33: 24 January 2025 – Last Day (On Leave)

Today was officially the last day of my teaching internship at SVHS, but unfortunately, I could not attend due to my health condition. Even though I missed the farewell, I felt grateful for the experience, the students I taught, and the lessons I learned in these past weeks.
