About me

Hello! I’m Abhijith A Kuttan, a passionate Physics Educator, Content Creator, and Entrepreneur, driven by a vision to make learning science more engaging and accessible.

My Journey in Education

My academic foundation in Physics and Education has shaped my approach to teaching. I hold a 5-year Integrated Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from the Central University of Tamil Nadu (2017–2022), where I explored advanced scientific concepts and conducted research on improving physics pedagogy. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Physical Science (2023–2025) from Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Kunnam, alongside an M.A. in Education (2023–2025) from IGNOU to deepen my understanding of teaching methodologies.

My research interests lie in pedagogic interventions, student engagement, and science education. My B.Ed. project, "The Impact of Learned Helplessness on Interest, Engagement, and Confidence in Science," and my M.Sc. thesis, "A Preliminary Study on the Effect of Pedagogic Intervention in Physics on Achievement, Engagement, and Learning for Undergraduate Students," reflect my commitment to improving science education.

My Teaching Experience

I have hands-on teaching experience in multiple educational settings:

  • Teacher Trainee at NSS Higher Secondary School, Kurathikad and Sree Vijayeshwari High School, Cheriyanad.
  • Class Teacher & Mathematics Teacher (Grade 6) at Trinity Model Secondary School, Telangana – a transformative period that strengthened my passion for education.
  • Private Tutor specializing in Mathematics and Physics 

With CTET and KTET (Category 3) qualifications, I am eager to expand my impact in the field of education.

Leadership & Contributions

I strongly believe in the power of leadership and community engagement. I served as the Chairperson of the Students' Union (2023) at Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Kunnam and was also an elected Students’ Council Member at Central University of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, I have organized and hosted multiple academic and cultural events, including:

  • Onam Celebration – Coordinated the event with creativity and engagement.
  • International Women’s Day Celebration – Hosted sessions to encourage discussion on gender equality.
  • Tharangam’19 – Led an intercollegiate fest, ensuring seamless coordination.

My Vision for the Future

I aspire to become a renowned physics teacher, not just within classrooms but across schools, colleges, and digital platforms. I am actively working on building educational content online to reach a wider audience, integrating modern teaching methods, digital tools, and interactive learning strategies.

Parallel to my career in education, I am also an entrepreneur, managing an online boutique business (BETR) that focuses on reselling women’s fashion and will soon expand into original designs and broader categories.
